Now, I would like to start by saying that, well I could get used to this. J

Everything seems to be finally falling into place here. School, well I have changed my subjects and am now doing music, drama and theatre. As well as maths and English. I have decided I love my class. J I have made friends and they are so nice to me, always willing to talk and I just feel so at home with them. OH! Haha and how could I not mention, my first Swedish best friend, Anton. J Haha this boy makes me laugh so much! But in a good way. J

Oh! I went to my first Swedish rock concert on Wednesday! It was in a town about half hour away called Linkoping. So, I no a few exchange students there so I decided to go there in the morning to my awesome Canadian friend Evan’s house. We played Xbox! Woo we are so cool J haha

Then Alex and David came around, we went and shopped (AKA seeked out junk food J) went back to Evans watched some pretty not good movies and stuffed our tummys with Swedish cars(OMG! BEST CANDY EVER!!!!!!), mnm’s, ice cream and chips J OH! And toasties for lunch.

THEN! Suddenly! Evan’s host mother offers him a ticket to Kent, the same very band I would be going to see that very night, and Evan politly says ‘yes, of course I would like to go’ J Even though he had never even listened to this awesome band before. But oh well. Off we went, ready to mosh, even though I told him you cant really mosh to Kent... But OH WELL!

I met up with Lydia (My future host sister) and her friends and we very gracefully made our way to the front! We watched the opening act (AKA wanna be Hannah Montana/Tay Swift), she was quite good I think.

THEN ...*Drum Role* * * * * * *

KENT! Wooooo. How amazing they where. And OMG! The lead singer’s shoes! Just wow.

The audience got so into it, it was just good to be apart of it.


So, Skip to Friday night/afternoon. I met up with some exchange student friends and we went a chilled and watched movies at Heathers house. Pretty Epic.

Saturday, Well. I went to the gym! OMG! Yes! You read it correct! J haha It was pretty good J

Then, that very same night was the grand final of Melodyfestivalen! AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! J I <3>J Darin is sooooo good. Oh yeah, maybe I should explain what this show is... ha

WELL! You no Euro vision... WELLS! To decide who Sweden wants to enter in this HUGE competition we have our own mini one. AND, well. DARIN IS THE BEST! His sooo cute J hehe

Anyways, so for the grand final of this brilliant show I went over to my friend Ana’s house where my other friend Anika also went. We all sat on the couch gasping whenever a country voted for the wrong person. And nearly killing Ana’s mums hearing when they announced who the winner was... Screams of disappointment... As the winner was some wanna be Country singer whom looks like shes 10 years old and we all wanted Darin *sigh* to win J


NOW! In regards to me learning Swedish, welllll.... It is happening... Slowly, but happening...

OH! I’m so excited coz this Friday there is a school party that everyone is going to. J My first Swedish party! Eeeeep! J
