‘
Smile, Happy looks good on you.’ – Stephen Jerzak.
So, now I am changing haga one smile at a time :) Smiling is just generally nice I think. Stephen Jerzak ( Just a BRILLIANT singer/song write) has now shown me this. His music is music that makes you just smile, and feel good. Thats all I feel at the moment. Happy all the time. :)
Okay, so. Last week I went to the best camp yet :) in a magical place far north of Sweden, above the arctic circle ( Where there is STILL snow! :0 )
in the nice mining town of Kiruna. Now, I must say, this camp did not start to well because of this STUPID, SILLY, NASTY VOLCANO!!! :/ Okay. Yep, thats off my chest now :) Yes. We where actually ment to take a 1 and a half flight up there but our flights happened to be cancelled... SO! David, the smart aussie in the town next to me suggested we just take the train (GOOD IDEA!) because there was no way else to get up there without missing out on some of the camp.
So, 20 hour train ride. Started with watching some finding nemo on the train. Then, onto the forst overnight train I have ever been on... SCARYY!
And, ofcorse. This overnight train must be cursed or something because... *INSERT SCARY MUSIC HERE*
Our train got attacted by dementors!!!! AHHHHHHHHH!!!
It was all so very Harry Poter... Alex, david and I innocently sitting just being kind, when all of a sudden the train stops and there is an announcement that something is wrong with the cables... *DUM DUM DUMMMMMM* THEN!
All of a sudden, this scary lady with black hair and just a plain scary vibe walks in! And says in a creepy dementor voice ‘may I check you’re tickets...?’ (In Swedish ofcoarse...) We would never dare deny! We wanted to live! Alex gave the woman her tickets and off she went with her no face self to harass the next people.
Next day, (AKA, Sunday) we where back to the snow. At first I thought, awww how cute. They still have snow here :) then I realised how lucky they were because I miss the snow. . .
ANYWAYS! We met up with Megan and Stevie on the way and then found ourselves at Kiruna train station. :) YAYYYYYY!!!!
We took some happy snaps then off we went to (Try) and find the great City Hotel!!!! (Which we later found out was a creepy hostel... :) )
We had some burgers and did some grocery shopping as this day was free for us because our schedule did not begin until Monday.
Twas one awesome day. :) great adventures had :)
OhhhhH!MONDAYYYYY!!! :D Well! I met a gazzilion people (Well, maybe not a gazzilion....), forgot all their names, then remembered them by maybe the next night (YES!)
After the food and the meeting and greeting we all got on the
flying bus(Well, maybe not flying... (N) ) where I sat next to a sweet as American named Nick. Now. Nick and I may not have gotten off to the best start as he had some problems accepting my name... Now, we can let Nick have his own thoughts but this did lead to us talking a lot and well, now he (I hope ) LOVES my name :) Well, I hope... Those crazy Americans sure where fun though :)
Next up on our crazy adventure of Kiruna, The Ice Hotel! :)
Ohh! WOW! Let me say, we nearly did not get to go inside because its melting and probably going to cave in soon! But! This did work in a good way as the hotel was closed so we got to go in all the rooms!!!
Get this! : Every year they rebuild the ice hotel with new designs and brand new ideas! :) Can we say,
AWESOME!
:)
Now, Tuesday.
We got to bed at maybe, 1 or 2 knowing the next day we had to be at the school at 5am!!! (EEEPPPP!) For breakfast ready to go to NORWAY!!!! *Claps and cheers*
Wow, this was definitely the highlight I would say...
It took 3 hours to get there with a stopover at a beautiful ski resort with the most beautiful view I have seen in my entire life.
Now, this bus ride was great with my Argentinean friend Paula. Ohhhh I LOVE PAULA!!! :) We are such good friends and coninsidently we had a huge ‘heart to heart’ that night about everything that was on our minds. That was soo nice :) (Despite the fact we didn’t get to sleep till 3 am... :) )
When we got to the beautiful water side city of Navik. There we all went on an adventure of the town looking at all the beautiful statues and whatever we found. It was a gorgeous and sunny day and I can think of anyone better to spend it with. ;)
The bus home was exhausting due to the night before card games and adventures. But, I still enjoyed it with great company.
That night we all enjoyed a great meal with the local ‘Samer’ people. We had music entertainment which including a ‘jojk’ for us :) . Great food, the nicest people and CRAZY Australians trying to teach every one
VEGEMITE WONT KILL YOU!
Wednesday morning we went on a trip with the ski mobiles to a nice very frozen lake where we went ice fishing (Oh the joy), cooked hot dogs on a fire and played games with drunk glasses. :) (IM A HORRIBLE FAKE DRUNK!)
That afternoon we had the pleasure of talking to some class about exchange and our lives I guess... was pretttttyyyyy interesting.......
:)
That night, we happened to be having an adventure of our hotel/hostel. When! Alll of a sudden...
WE FOUND NARNIA!!!!!!
:0 OMG, I know right. Amazing. The thing is we where in the elevator pressing random buttons when !!!
The door opened on the other side and we discovered a secret unused room that was freezing and tiny but we couldn’t help but be sooooo extremely excited! :) We sat there in amazement just... chilling, and being amazed... :)
That very night we just HAD to watch finding nemo as my great American, ignorant, friend Nick had NEVER seen finding nemo before!!! :0 (I know right!!! WTF!) <3 haha
I love the people I met at this camp. From USA, Canada, Mexio, New Zealand, Argentina, Germany, AUSTRALIA <3, Brazil and SWEDEN :)
The next day, was the sadness of saying good bye to some people and see you on euro tour to some.
I Miss them like hell and love them to the moon and back.
Being an exchange student is just the best feeling. I think it is just happiness and love.
#Loveisstrong

Today, Tuesday. Me and my friend, Malin ( <3 <3 <3 ), are making my school (Haga ) And happy school. It started by me being bored and writing on a peice of paper,
‘Smile, happy looks good on you.’ –Stephen Jerzak. Then we decided to place this happy peice of awesome paper on the stairs where everyone could see it and smile :)
Just spreading the love.
Our aim is to make Haga the happiest school on earth :) it sooo will happen. :)
So.! Lets just say, being an exchange student is the best thing ever and I love every person I have met here and have grown so close to some (Even though I have known some for less than a week...)
